Quality Kauri dining tables as durable natural works of art
Dining tables are usually used every day and put under a lot of strain. To ensure that you can use the table without restriction, I process the table tops using a special surface technique. This hardens the surface is hardened and made more scratch-resistant. It also becomes moisture-resistant.
The table tops have a homogeneous, smooth and soft-touch surface with no protruding wood particles. This makes the surface easy to clean and you can make full use of the table. You are buying a dining table that you do not have to maintain and that can withstand (almost) anything.

The wood I use to make my dining tables is either a large tree trunk from a Kauri tree or a root, both grown in one piece.
Rare unique pieces and limited edition s are tables that have grown from a root on a piece of a giant kauri tree. I have specialized in the production of these special wooden tables and my many years of professional experience as a master carpenter will benefit you as a customer.
Before starting the actual surface treatment, I fill all the depressions with a special epoxy resin that soaks into the wood fibre and fills all the depressions and porous parts of the wood, making them harder at the same time. This gives the surface of the beautiful root wood a homogeneous and closed surface in which nothing can penetrate, as could be the case with heavily used dining tables.
By using thousand-year-old Kauri wood, you are buying a genuine natural work of art that you can also use as a long-lasting dining table thanks to the special surface finish.
