Large Individual Kauri Dining Table with River Course

According to customer request, I separated this large Kauri table top in the middle because it was crisscrossed by a long crack. To come to a certain width dimension, I put the two halves apart after consultation with the customer and filled the resulting joint with high-quality transparent epoxy resin to a river course. Thus, a special wooden table made of thousand-year-old Kauri wood was created as an impressive River Table.

I filled all the natural growths and cracks with epoxy resin. This means that the large dining table can be used without any problems and no indentations interfere with everyday use. In addition, a high-quality, moisture-resistant and naturally soft to the touch surface treatment provides lasting protection for the unique Kauri dining table.
By drying the large table tops, which are grown in one piece, to 8% wood moisture (living room level) beforehand, the solid table tops are least likely to warp or crack afterwards. These work steps contribute to the long-lasting unique appearance of the high-quality wooden tables.

The calm appearance of the table top, which was cut from a Kauri tree trunk, enhances the appearance of the epoxy resin-cast river course and makes this a fascinating eye-catcher in the River Table.
Experience nature - unadulterated, pure and unique. I adapt the precious wooden tables to any interior by individually selecting the wood character and size of the table tops according to your wishes.

A unique one-off table with the number 96, which will only exist once and which the owner will enjoy for a long time. The beauty of wood as a natural material is shown to impressive advantage in this dining table as a special River Table with the look of prehistoric Kauri wood. High-quality and moisture-resistant processing guarantees unique quality.
The loose wood parts, such as the bark of the naturally grown tree edges, are removed by hand until a solid wood substance is achieved. This is also processed by hand until the wood of the Kauri tables is free of splinters and feels as soft to the touch. This gives the wooden tables a graceful appearance and reveals the unique beauty of nature.
