Exclusive dining table made of natural Kauri wood

The solid table top of the dining table is cut out of the trunk of a kauri tree. The vivid grain of the tabletop with its pronounced tree edges is beautifully visible here. As a rule, kauri tree trunk table tops have a calmer appearance and a more even growth than a table top cut from a root.
Tables cut from a tree trunk have naturally grown outer edges called tree edges or natural edges. Due to the size of the thousand-year-old Kauri trees with a diameter of up to 5 meters, it may be that the plates are cut in the middle to come to a comfortable width for a dining table of about 100 cm. The straight cut is then done by hand according to the customer's wishes so that it looks like a naturally grown tree edge. Tree edges on solid wood tables that have grown in one piece are a special expression of naturalness. Kauri table tops look like unique natural works of art.
Special features of the growth have high aesthetic value. Artistic natural growths in the wood bear witness to the unique diversity of nature. When touching the surface with its natural structure, our senses are addressed and captured by the natural radiance of the kauri wood.
To close the naturally grown depressions in this exclusive wooden table, I filled them with a high-quality epoxy resin. This creates a very beautiful and graceful representation with 3D depth effect. Due to the filling, the surface of the dining table is flat, the table can be used as such in conjunction with a resistant and high-quality surface without restriction.
You do not need to re-care the solid table top with the beautiful tree edges as is often the case with standard wooden tables. The table top moisture resistant and there are no stains.
Solid wood dining tables with tree edges are subject to a lot of wear and tear and are used on a daily basis. They should be given a special, high-quality surface finish so that they remain beautiful for a long time and you, the customer, can enjoy them for a long time.
