Impressive conference tables as works of art
Kauri coffee tables combine monumental scale with a serene presence. They are unique, limited-edition pieces with a rich history. The extraordinary size of ancient kauri trees allows for tabletops carved from a single piece, a rarity on the international market. Such a table is functional and defines the space as a singular, curated object. It exudes a sense of prestige and distinction while remaining serene.

A large Kauri conference table is a quiet, large-scale object with a sculptural presence. Especially when the root and trunk come together in a single slab, or when the table’s length extends into the room, the piece takes on an object-like character that lies somewhere between design, craftsmanship, and art. The continuous grain and the dimensions of the wood give the table an extraordinary aura that cannot be replicated.

Kauri conference tables are particularly suitable for:

The wood comes from very large trees in New Zealand’s preserved kauri forests. Swamp kauri, also known as ancient kauri, has been preserved in peat and swamp areas over very long periods of time; the official range is approximately 800 to 60,000 years. This origin makes the material rare and of scientific and cultural-historical interest. This depth of origin is particularly significant for the uniqueness of these conference tables:
The wood carries a history that cannot be replicated. It is subfossil, extraordinary, and singular in this form.

Kauri allows for monumental tabletops in sizes that are virtually impossible to achieve with other woods. In rare cases, they can reach lengths of up to 11 meters and widths of up to 2 meters. Their artistic root structure also makes them unique on an international scale. Such dimensions open up entirely new possibilities for exclusive conference rooms, executive areas, and prestigious meeting spaces.
They are not only functional but also lend a room structure, tranquility, and architectural order.

The root sections feature an impressive, artistic grain. Part of their appeal lies in their natural inclusions. Golden, ingrown amber, root bark stabilized with high-quality epoxy resin, and textured natural openings make Kauri conference tables design pieces with an artistic flair. They are natural statements with exceptional character and depth. The archaic, natural character is preserved, while the imposing piece is simultaneously crafted for everyday use.

Depending on the raw material, the conference table is made from burl wood and/or trunk wood. Burl wood adds more movement, a more natural character, and often a more expressive look. Trunk wood has a calmer, more linear, and more architectural appearance.

Every Kauri conference table is custom-made. The dimensions, shape, wood selection, and base are tailored to each specific project. Each table is a one-of-a-kind piece with its own unique grain pattern—a custom-crafted, limited-edition piece of furniture with a traceable provenance, its own unique serial number, and a certificate of authenticity, making it impossible to reproduce.
Today, modern conference tables are often designed with built-in technology, cable management, and discreet ports. This functionality can also be incorporated into Kauri conference tables without detracting from the wood’s natural appearance.

The table serves as a functional work surface while also being a serene, distinctive piece that provides a clear, self-contained setting for conversations and, at the same time, reflects the company’s values. Kauri conference tables lend corporate spaces a distinct, prestigious presence. The rare kauri wood allows for custom solutions that go far beyond the ordinary and would be virtually impossible to achieve with other materials.

Next are the individual conference tables, each with its own unique serial number. Here, the differences between burl and solid wood become apparent, as well as variations in workability, large-format designs, amber-colored sections, and very calm, clear solid wood slabs.
