Large conference table with two table tops from one tree trunk

This meeting and conference table I manufactured individually according to customer specifications from two solid Kauri table tops. These are cut out of a 50,000 year old trunk of a Kauri tree and have a calm and even appearance compared to the root wood.
Very natural striking in this solid wood table are the tree edges with its curved and natural edges. These make the conference table an eye-catcher and special solid wood table. I also emphasized the natural tree edges by sanding them to a soft, tactile finish. So they now feel like hand caresses when you run your hand along it.
The two table tops were originally arranged one above the other in the tree trunk, after customer request I put both plates individually next to each other, so that the conference table has a total size of 220 x 220 cm. This ensures that the table tops have the same grain, coloring and tree edges course.
Sufficiently large blanks are available in my warehouse to be able to make you even an impressive conference table in a width of 2 meters, with a length of e.g. 3 meters grown in one piece(!). This guarantees that you get a real unique piece and incomparable table unicum, and will have a lasting effect on customers and guests.
As a supporting structure, the customer opted for a table frame made of raw, oiled iron in a U-shape. With its archaic appearance, this fits very well with the solid natural wood. With an elaborate substructure, individually made by the master locksmith, the two solid wood table tops are stably connected to the table frame. Due to the central arrangement, there is sufficient legroom.
In order to transport the Kauri wooden tables easily, I connect the table frames to the table tops at the customer's site.

The greatness of the tree, a humility before nature, comes out impressively in the original grain of the Kauri wood and the size of the Kauri table tops in the solid wood table. Each grown in one piece, the wooden tables radiate a special calm and strength, as here in the large tree trunk conference table. The character of wood, the art that comes from nature, transforms into energy for us humans.
Tables made of large, selected tree trunk table tops with its multifaceted beauty and warm radiance bring about a positive sense of well-being within us.
All this we seek and find in nature, and in the large, majestic natural wood table tops from the thousand-year-old Kauri solid wood. From it, with feeling and love, I make an extraordinary and artistic wooden table for your personal, creative and business.

In the cutout here is very nice to see the expressiveness of the solid Kauri wood. Grown in one piece, the solid tabletop shows all its beauty. The color of the wood, every single natural feature, the artfully naturally grown tree edges of the conference table tell their own stories and stimulate the imagination. I fill naturally grown openings such as cracks and bark ingrowths with high quality epoxy resin, allowing them to remain intact. These contribute to the special appearance of the Kauri solid wood tables.
With my high quality and craftsmanship, you will enjoy an exceptional Kauri solid wood table for a long time.
