Large designer conference table and meeting table with solid wood table top

This exclusive conference table or meeting table with a distinctive tree trunk table top made of solid Kauri wood, has an exceptional length of 400 cm, is 120 cm wide and has a 10 cm thick solid table top that has grown in one piece. This is supported by a modern designer stainless steel base that has been made to fit the tree trunk table and offers optimal legroom.
Large wooden tables with solid wood table tops grown in one piece are exclusive and unique, and lend themselves very well to a fancy conference table or meeting table that will attract the eye. The exceptional characteristics of the huge swampy Kauri trees that are several thousand years old, can be perfectly expressed in large tables.

The pronounced natural edges or tree edges, which are typically present in solid wood table tops that are cut from a tree trunk, give the designer meeting table a pristine character and provide exceptional hand caresses. The elaboration of these special natural elements required a special processing with a lot of manual work. The result is a pleasantly soft feel and special look.

I also hand-finish the smallest indentations of the impressive tree edges to make the wood of this special table splinter-free. Kauri tree trunk table tops usually have beautiful tree edges, which are trademarks of tree trunk tables of the thousand-year-old swamp wood. Tables with pronounced edges are also called tree edge tables.

From the annual rings of the large massive tabletop, which are visible at the ends, you can approximately deduce what diameter the kauri tree once had. Here the tree was cut crosswise. This cut is called a cross-section and the annual rings growing round and parallel to the outer edge of the tree become visible and are also called end-grain or head-grain in every tree.
If you imagine these annual rings as a whole circle, you can draw conclusions about the diameter of the tree. The tree from which the conference table originated may have had a diameter of about 2 meters before it fell and sank into the swamp. Tables with table tops cut from a tree trunk are also called tree trunk tables.
The ancient Kauri trees had a diameter of up to 5 meters in times when there were no people in New Zealand. So the wood from these prehistoric Kauri trees is also perfectly suitable for extraordinary conference tables, large meeting tables and also large dining tables.

The grain of the solid tree trunk table top contains many naturally grown swirls that run through to the natural edges and are also visible here in the form of bulges. Through these special natural features and through the size of the table top grown in one piece, this modern designer conference table gets its extraordinary character.
Through my custom craftsmanship, I am able to make large meeting tables and fancy conference tables in almost any size from the extraordinary Kauri wood. Each table is truly unique.

The modern designer table frame, made to fit this meeting table, makes the table timeless. Combined with quality craftsmanship, the tree trunk table is durable and a special heirloom. Each Kauri wood table is handcrafted and individually made by me as a master carpenter in my manufactory according to the customer's wishes, and comes with an age certificate, which provides information about the age of the thousand-year-old wood, and its own unique number.
