Natural wooden table with glass legs
The designer dining table with a massive 50,000 year old table top made from a kauri tree trunk with its distinctive tree edges shortly after completion at the photo shoot in my manufactory.
The modern glass legs give the Kauri wooden table a light, floating impression. The solid table top sets an impressive scene and dominates the room with its original look.
The solid tree trunk table top has grown in one piece and remained as it grew with knots, natural or tree edges and cracks on request to preserve the original natural character. Filling these special features with high quality epoxy resin gives the dining table a fascinating "glimpse" of the wood as seen in the center of the table top.
The organic tree edges I process by hand and work them splinter-free and soft to the touch. This makes them feel very pleasant, like soft palms. This results in a particularly harmonious natural character of the noble tabletop. This technique gives the modern wooden table a unique nature-related expressiveness. In conjunction with the glass feet, the natural radiance of the wood is enhanced.
Each Kauri table top is unique and one of a kind. Like all Kauri wood tables made by me, this noble designer dining table also received a Unikat Sigel (Unique No. 65) as can be seen in the picture. With a corresponding certificate about the age of the table top I would like to emphasize the uniqueness of the swamp woods.
Primal natural features such as this pronounced tree edge I process haptically soft and finally feel like hand flatterers. These typical intergrowths of the Kauri wood contribute to the fact that each Kauri wood table is a unique unicum.
I usually fill unevenness in the tabletop with epoxy resin, as with this dining table. The natural growth is preserved and no depressions disturb the everyday use which is very important especially for dining tables. My special surface finish makes each table very easy to clean and suitable for everyday use.

The glass feet made of ESG safety glass are connected to the table top with a stable stainless steel construction, so that it is absolutely torsion-resistant. Underneath the feet a transparent sealing tape protects the floor. Through different foot frames I offer my customers and all individually made the wooden tables remain timelessly modern and adapt to any interior.
