Due to the overwhelming size of the old Kauri trees and therefore the large roots, it is possible for me to cut table tops in one piece from a huge root. I made this extraordinary designer dining table from it. This 280 x 120 cm root table top impresses with its unique natural characteristics typical of roots, with many intergrowths, beautiful grain, ingrown bark and original gold-colored amber from the Kauri tree that lived thousands of years ago.

I cast the ends of the tabletop in high-quality epoxy resin to achieve a specific, parallel width requested by the customer. I incorporated natural tree resin from kauri trees into the mixture. Over the course of millennia, this resin has hardened into genuine amber, creating a fascinating, golden-hued natural element and a touch of luxury.
For high-quality burl wood table tops with epoxy resin work, it is a good idea to include special materials such as shiny golden amber or personal items such as pieces of jewelry or gold during processing. Your extravagant designer table will be further upgraded to a precious and stable luxury table with a truly unique look that will attract attention. Tables with a high epoxy resin content are also known as epoxy resin tables.
