The transition from the surface of the table top to the edge impressively shows the primal grain of the design table. According to the customer's wishes, I have made the edges straight so that the table top gets a modern rectangular basic shape and the attention is drawn entirely to the beautiful Kauri wood of the table top.

With epoxy resin I solidified the old cracked and partly brittle wood to form it into a compact unit and set the outer dimensions of the design furniture individually made to measure. I made the individual pieces of furniture from the same 2900 year old solid Kauri root.
