The special features of the large, solid natural wood table top, grown in one piece, with the lively grain of the root wood and the natural feature filled with high-quality epoxy resin are beautifully accentuated by the transparent and modern glass legs.
The transition from the surface of the table top to the edge impressively shows the primal grain of the design table. According to the customer's wishes, I have made the edges straight so that the table top gets a modern rectangular basic shape and the attention is drawn entirely to the beautiful Kauri wood of the table top.
The exclusive design table made of the original Kauri wood with its glass feet is timelessly modern. In the front part of the table top you can see the fascinating natural characteristics of the root which in the back part merges into the tree trunk.
The root wood of the Kauri tree grows in all directions and is beautifully accentuated in the finished table top, giving the table an incomparable charm. Due to the unimaginable size of the old Kauri trees, I can make correspondingly large table tops from root wood in one piece. The result is a true work of art of nature that is unique, valuable and an alternative tangible asset with inflation protection.
The artistic nature in the form of a three-dimensionality in the form of "waves" and the epoxy resin-filled natural intergrowth as a "lake going into the depths" can be seen very beautifully here. Modern tables made from unusual and striking woods such as the unique Kauri wood are always the focal point of the room and an eye-catcher at the same time. Exclusive Kauri Wood Design Furniture
Exclusive design furniture made of root wood consisting of a design table, a bench and two stools. With epoxy resin I solidified the old cracked and partly brittle wood to form it into a compact unit and set the outer dimensions of the design furniture individually made to measure. I made the individual pieces of furniture from the same 2900 year old solid Kauri root.
