A special coffee table from the unique root wood which is also seen as a beautiful sculpture. The large naturally grown opening I filled with epoxy resin so that the table top can be used as a coffee table. The modern glass feet take back and let the table top literally "float".
I consider irregularities in the growth of the kauri wood as a work of art of nature: through the loving elaboration they are highlighted and represent a fascinating eye-catcher in the artistic table top. The back of the table top is also a testimony to the fascinating nature. The table top rests loosely on the glass legs and can be easily turned over as desired and the coffee table immediately takes on a different character.

Unusual coffee table with 2,900 year old Kauri root wood pieces with natural tree edges "floating" in epoxy resin. To give a natural look to the unusual table top I chose slightly milky epoxy resin. As a side effect, the artistic table is less sensitive to stains and scratches.
