Custom-made by a master carpenter

Every tree trunk table is custom-made. The dimensions, proportions, edges, base, and finish are tailored to the specific piece of wood. The tables are handcrafted in Germany and come with a unique serial number and a certificate of age. As a master cabinetmaker, I treat the surfaces so that they are easy to clean and designed for daily use. Proper drying and a careful, moisture-resistant surface treatment are therefore crucial for stability and durability.

Origin and Sustainability

The kauri trees from which these rare tables are crafted have been dead for a long time, so no living trees need to be cut down. At the same time, the material is used almost entirely, as the trunk, natural edges, and naturally formed sections are all incorporated into the design. The focus remains clearly on the calm heartwood and its spatial impact.
