I made a dining table from this large unprocessed piece of root. Here you can see ingrown pieces of bark with small branches that are solidified in the resin and thus remain visible.
At the customer's request, I filled the corners with small offcuts, bark and amber from the Kauri tree and filled them with epoxy resin to make the table top roughly rectangular.
Here is the finished table top. Because I took the leftover pieces from the same root block, they fit harmoniously into the overall appearance of the table top. This allows me to respond specifically to the customer's wishes and deliver a tailor-made table.
