Special processing to straighten warped Kauri table tops

After drying, great natural forces arise in the wood of the large tree trunk slabs. With a special treatment, I take these out and straighten the tabletop with them.

This means that I only need to remove very little of the valuable solid wood during subsequent processing and the strength of the board is retained.

Wooden tables in high-quality craftsmanship

The picture shows how important it is to dry the large solid Kauri table tops to approx. 7% wood moisture before processing. The level on the top shows the warpage.

Warping and cracking of the table tops are natural processes and would be the result after one to two years at the customer's premises if the top had not been dried properly beforehand. I then straighten the top.

This is the best guarantee that my customers will be able to enjoy a beautiful, high-quality Kauri wooden table for a long time.
